“Well, I was once a champion hot dog eater,” you say, thinking of the first thing that came to mind.
“Oh so you think you are just going to come in here and take my title, huh?” she say. “You must have noticed my hot dog eating trophies up there and thought you could beat me, huh?” She points to some trophies. “Well no way that’s happening, and no way you’re getting this job, so huh, huh, huh.”
You walk out in shame as all the other applicants laugh. You hear later that the man with the extra arm beat you for the job. You try out for other jobs, but the interviewers has told the other companies about your desire to steal their food eating titles, so they refuse to hire you. You end up working at a low end job, making basically nothing. All this because of your clever name!
